A new British study suggests women can strengthen their bones in the face of laminating and loss of intensity that occurs with age by jogging for only a minute or two a day.
Medical reports indicate that one out of every two women suffers from bone loss after the age of 50, and that one out of four men suffers from the problem after this age.
According to the study conducted at two British universities, Exeter and Leicester, running for a minute a day is an effective strategy for women to protect their bones from postmenopausal frailty due to lack of bone density.
When the bone density decreases, there are gaps in the bone compared to those who do not have the problem, bone fractures become easier, and healing is harder and takes time.
Medical reports recommend women exercise for 150 minutes a week to protect their bones. However, according to the results of the new study, jogging for at least one minute if committed daily to reduce the risk of osteoporosis to the minimum possible.
Some other factors are aggravated by the lack of bone density, such as smoking, and lack of certain nutrients, especially calcium, phosphorus, magnesium and potassium in food, and direct exposure to the sun.
